A Japanese iron and gilt flattened baluster vase
Edo Period
of oval form with slightly flaring foot and neck, with two applied badger handles grasping a raised band decorated with stylised flowerheads, above a wavy band moulded with archaic motifs -- 8in. (20cm.) high, (gilt rubbing and wear).
