Ming Dynasty
of globular section with waisted neck and chicken head spout, the silvered metal handle representing the tail, painted with bands of coiled motifs and sprays of flowers and foliage -- 3½in. (8.7cms) high; a blue and white tea bowl painted with bands of flower motifs; a small blue and white circular box and cover painted with a duck amid aquatic weeds; a small provincial blue and white box and cover painted with panels of flower motifs; a blue and white bowl sparsely decorated with a styliysed galloping horse; and a further blue and white bowl boldly painted with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl -- 5 7/8in. (15cms) diam, 18th Century. (6)
