A GEORGE CUKOR GONE WITH THE WIND CANCELLATION AGREEMENT
On February 13, 1939 Director George Cukor walked off the production of Gone With The Wind citing irreconcilable differences with David O. Selznick. Dated March 2, 1939 the "termination" agreement is signed in original green ink by George Cukor and black ink by Daniel T. O'Shea. This sudden departure caused David Selznick to pull Director Victor Fleming off the set of The Wizard of Oz to complete the film for which Fleming subsequently won the 1939 Best Director Academy Award.
