A HANDWRITTEN KATHERINE HEPBURN LETTER, 1967
A letter written by actress Katherine Hepburn dated July 17, 1967. In black ink, with original envelope, it is written on longtime companion Spencer Tracy's stationery. Responding to sympathy wishes on Mr. Tracy's death from Sydney Guilaroff she writes "...What the hell is there to say - Really nothing - I try to tell myself that I must not moan because I was lucky to know him and God knows - compared to most of the people I've known - we had a long, long, time together.."
