Photocollage consisting of 113 gelatin silver prints, assembled to cartographer's specifications as a lunar map. 1966-68. Each dated in white ink on the recto. Each approximately 1 7/8 x 1./78in. (4.8 x 4.8cm.) Each stapled on U.S. Geological Survey blueprinted grid paper mount with printed credit, title and vectors.
29½ x 12in. (74.9 x 30.5cm.) overall.

Lot Essay

Three editions of approximately 300 maps each were completed between 1966-68. Examples of lunar maps are in the permanent collections of both The Museum of Modern Art and Metropolitan Museum of Art.
