(11 11/16 x 7 5/8in.), contemporary calf, paper spine label, slight wear to joints, head of spine and lower corners worn, a few slight stains and abrasions to covers, large folding plate 35 with single 7 1/2-inch tear and with edge crumpled from poor folding, small single tears at fold corners of 15 other folding plates, mostly slight and not affecting images. FIRST EDITION, title printed in red and black with engraved armorial vignette, 38 engraved plates, 20 of them folding.
