Definitive edition of Marot's works, second issue, with title date changed from 1544. This last edition published in Marot's lifetime (he died in 1544, making this issue posthimous) was the first to be arranged by genre and the first to contain the complete text of Marot's translations of fifty of the Psalms, which, with Theodore de Bèze's translation of the remaining Psalms, became the Huguenot Psalter. 35 of the poems were previously unpublished.
