FIRST EDITION of this anonymous French verse adaptation, italic type (attributed to Robert Granjon), captions in roman, 178 woodcuts, attributed to Bernard Salomon, of which 20 appeared previously in Marot's translation of Ovid (published as part of his Oeuvres, 1549), the remainder appearing here for the first time, a variety of ornamental and figurative woodcut borders.
