engraving, circa 1501, on laid paper, watermark Anchor in a Circle (M. 171a), a very good Meder b-c impression, displaying remarkable clarity of detail, trimmed to or just inside the platemark, a made-up area at the top right with related pale staining, a small repaired hole on the bridge, another at the bottom right corner, other pale staining and minor defects
