Lot Essay

The subject is taken from the Book of Tobit, one of the books of the Old Testament Apocrypha. The story tells of Tobit, a pious Jew, who was exiled to Nineveh in Assyria. In defiance of the King's orders, he observed the precepts of Hebrew law by burying the dead.
