Comprising a gold-inlaid vessel formed as a vase with barbed rim rising from the back of a crouching mythical beast; two in the form of fang hu, one with cast taotie handles, the other inlaid in silver with archaistic designs and cast on the high, angular shoulder with four taotie masks; two of hu form, one inlaid in silver with two archaistic birds surrounded by spirals of silver wire inlay, with a pair of closed tubular handles flanking the neck, the other with ribbed body inlaid in silver wire with bands of archaistic designs and cast with a pair of taotie-mask handles; the sixth vessel of elongated pear shape and oval section, with a pair of loop handles issuing from animal masks, the base with a four-character hallmark, Long Wen Tang zao ('Made for the Longwen Hall')--2¼ to 3 3/8in.
