One a white jade lotus pod well carved around the sides with a dragonfly and leaf and blossom rising from the stems on the underside; the other a grayish-green and russet belt-buckle carved in low relief with a Buddhistic lion grasping a brocade ball as its cub peeks from behind; together with a russet-stained soapstone seal, Ming Dynasty, the square block carved on top with a crouching tortoise, the base with a raised circular medallion carved in intaglio with a dragon roundel--2¼ and 2 3/4in.
