Cut as a square, painted in black outline and colored wash with the figure of Guanyin seated in dhyanasana on a lotus base within a circular mandorla, wearing long flowing robes, with a jeweled pectoral at the chest and an elaborate jeweled headdress, some cracking and wear--12 1/2 x 13 1/4in. (31.9 x 33.7cm.)
