The deep-sided body and flat base formed from red and buff clay patterned with large six-petaled blossoms surrounded by marbleizing ending at the edge of the plain, finger-finished rim, covered inside and out with a yellowish transparent glaze, top of mouth rim left unglazed, crack--6¼in. (15.8cm.) diam.
