A LONGQUAN CELADON INCISED LOBED DISH
YUAN/EARLY MING DYNASTY

The shallow dish with an everted, lobed and barbed rim decorated with interlocking cash pattern within the thickened edge, the conforming fluted well with a continuous lotus-scroll band encircling the central lotus sprig, the lotus-scroll band repeated on the exterior above the low footring, covered allover with a lucent sea-green glaze--15½in. (39.5cm.) diam.
