KANGXI
Painted in bright rich tones of underglaze blue with numerous pavilions on the shores of a lake, the scene populated by many figures at various pursuits, four of the figures in the two small pavilions positioned in the lake either side of a bridge and joined to the shore by planks, the whole between herringbone borders, with a landscape band on the lower neck separated by a ribbed band from blossoming branches above, leaf mark within a double and single circle on the base, some rim chips--17 3/4in. (45.1cm.) high
