A PAIR OF YELLOW-GROUND BLUE AND WHITE DISHES
KANGXI

Each painted in the center in deep inky blue with three flowerheads, reserved on a densely scrolled ground within a double-line border, the molded petals of the shallow sides rising to a barbed rim, each centered by an 'aster', repeated on the exterior, all but the flowerheads under a thin, iridescent, egg-yolk-yellow glaze, minor rim chips--6½in. (16.6cm.) diam. (2)
