The first a rare famille verte pen box and cover, modeled after an Islamic metal prototype, pierced with three circular and one shaped rectangular aperture in the interior, the cover decorated with a striding four-clawed dragon above two qilin dragons on the sides divided by beribboned 'precious objects', all picked out in pale green, yellow and aubergine enamels; one a waisted cylindrical brushpot, decorated with a pair of horses and 'precious objects' reserved on a dense green-scroll ground, cracks; and a small bombé censer decorated with the same pattern, chips--8in.
