With expressive and sensitive modelling, the lips parted revealing the teeth, wearing a cloak on the shoulders, and a sakkos from which protrudes curly locks of hair, short at the forehead, and longer over each ear, 5/8in. (1.6cm.) high

The style, subject matter, and small scale of this bronze closely link it to the Hellenistic bronze hoard from Galjub in the Egyptian Delta now in the Roemer- und Pelizaeus-Museum, Hildesheim. See Ippel, Der Bronzefund von Galjub.
