AN ASSEMBLED PAIR OF BIRD PICTORIALS
AMERICAN, PROBABLY 19TH CENTURY
The first comprised of cut pieces of satin woven fabric forming a green bird with white wings and yellow beak perched on a brown foliated branch--9¼ x 7 in.; the second in watercolor pigments and applied feathers on paper depicting two white, brown, grey and red birds perched on a foliated trunk under which is the ink inscription [translation]: "Birds of Paradise"--12¾ x 9½in.
