The central birth and baptismal record of Maria Gerhart, born 17 January 1818 to Adam and Elizabeth Gerhart and baptized 12 April 1818, in black ink enclosed in a circle of blue pigment, and flanked at all four corners by blue, red, yellow and sepia bird, three mounted on colored scrolling foliate and floral vines, all within an ink defined blue and yellow rectangular border--13 x 15¾in.
