The first a tinned sheet metal rectangular box with conforming hinged lid opening to a single compartment interior, the exterior painted with pastoral scene on lid, the sides with a band of gilt scrolling leaves and flowers on a red ground--the second a painted wood square box with pointed pierced hanging tab and slanted hinged lid opening to a single compartment, the top and sides all with red painted band borders above and below central blue comb-painted decoration (lid separated) --the third, a diminutive rectangular box with conforming domed, hinged lid, the whole with red and white painted flowers on a yellow ground--5in. high, 3in. wide, 3½in. deep largest
