A WATERCOLOR AND INK DECORATED VORSCHRIFT
SCHOOL OF THE HUBER ARTIST, ACTIVE C. 1790 - 1800 AND POSSIBLY TO 1829, LANCASTER COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, C.1806
The rectangular border defined by crossed bands of straight flowering and foliate vines, with large stylized tulips facing in toward the text, the inscription in three registers, the third inscribed at base, "Written in the Year of Our Lord 1806, the 17th of February." and concluding below with [translation], "This Vorschrift belongs to me Judith Buchwalter."--12¾ x 15¼in.
