A WATERCOLOR AND INK DECORATED FRAKTUR-SCHRIFTEN NEW YEAR'S WISH
SIGNED HANS JACOB BRUBACHER, ACTIVE 1751 - 1801, LANCASTER COUNTY, DATED 1 JANUARY 1782
Centering four boldly outlined black ink rectangles in which are inscribed several verses and New Year's wishes, as well as an identification of the text belonging to Elizabeth Feuth, alternating between four unenclosed texts, all flanked by scrolling vines in black ink and sepia colored tulips, and inscribed at the base, "Gott allein die ehre/HIB"--9½ x 7½in.
