The rectangular form with three edges bound worked in several registers; the top with cross-stitched identification: "SUSZAN (?) LONGENECKER 1848" above a horizontal band of three central tulips flanked by two birds and two flowers over one central flower flanked by two perched birds on each side above three abstracted floral forms over scrolling floral foliate border, in yellow, brown, pink, green, red, orange and blue crewel yarns--54 x 18¾in.
