This attribution to Conrad Mumbouer is based upon characteristic use of pinwheel-like flowers similar to those on a plate illustrated in Garvan, page 184, number 67. Another distinguishing characteristic of Conrad Mumbouer is a notched tulip and vine which is the basis of attribution for lot 640 in this sale. Another plate in the Pennsylvania German Collection combines both the pinwheel flowers and notched tulip and vine is illustrated in Garvan, p.185, number 72.

This plate is recorded in The Winterthur Library: Decorative Arts Photographic Collection accession number 77.147
