Lot Essay
A pivotal art nouveau sculptor, Larche (1860-1912) is perhaps best known for his depictions of the dancer Loie Fuller. He also created charming decorative lamps such as the present model. Cf. P. Kjellberg, Les Bronzes du XIXe Siècle, Paris, 1887, pp. 407-415 for further information on the sculptor.
