Of flask form, the smokey gray glass etched with heraldic shields on both sides, one side with medieval monks seated around a table, the other with monks picking flowers, enameled in colors of red, gray, dusty ivory and pale blue, framed with an acanthus scroll motif, surmounted by lozenge-shaped stopper, overall heightened with gilding, enameled E. Gallé--9 1/2in. (24.2cm.) high
