The text of this stele is a commemoration of the imperially commissioned restoration of the Temple of Confucius and the production of sacrificial vessels. The stele's calligraphy is valued for its high level of regularity, as well as its elegance and refinement. The original stele is now in the Temple of Confucius in Qufu, Shandong. In this rubbing the character " " has not yet been broken.
