Sixteen collectors' seals, including two of Wang Shimao (1536-1588) and one each of Wei Xuelian (1607-1644) and Zhuang Junsheng (1627-1679) and five of Tan Jing (20th century)

Seven colophons, including one each of Wen Jia (1501-1583), Wang Shimao, Wei Xueliang, Fang Hengxian (circa 1647-1678) and Liang Tongshu (1723-1815)

Lot Essay

There are many carved versions of the Duren Sutra by Lingbao. This particular one was engraved during the Song-Yuan period. The rubbing dates to the same period and includes inscriptions by famous Ming and Qing collectors, indicating the album was part of their collections.
