A GEORGE III SILVER TWO HANDLED PORRINGER AND A FRENCH SALT, the first London, 1760, maker's mark of Samuel Welles, partly fluted cylindrical with flaring rim, engraved with crest within flowers, chased corded shoulder, with punched stylized foliate borders, with two reeded strap scroll handles--3in. (7.6cm.) high, the oval salt with later hinged shell form cover, molded oval, on four swirled scroll supports, the sides chased with swirled flutes--Toulouse, 18th Century--3¾in. (9.5cm.) long, together with a later chased pear shaped cream jug--bearing marks for London, 1777--4¾in. (12cm.) high, 11.5oz. (3)
