A SILVER INKSTAND, circa 1850, probably Brazilian, on triangular base, raised on three bracket supports with beaded decoration and scrolling molded rim, the field supporting two inkwells with glass liners, one pounce pot, three brush holders and one central holder on three shell and scroll supports, each with similar beaded decoration and engraved drapery swags at the shoulder, the covers with baluster form finial, apparently unmarked--length of side 10in.
