A GROUP OF GEORGE III IRISH SILVER ITEMS, comprising: a deep circular sugar bowl, on four rocaille and mask headed scroll and shell supports, the sides chased with large flowering foliage, engraved with crest, the base chased with swirled flutes and stylized foliage, everted fluted rim--apparently Cork, maker's mark of John Nicholson, circa 1780--5¼in. (13.3cm.) diam., a deep oval sauceboat, on three stylized shell headed hoof supports, chased with slender reeds and beaded bands, beaded rim, engraved with crest, with leaf capped ring and scroll handle--Dublin, maker's mark of M. West, circa 1780-- length over handle and spout 7in. (17.7cm.), an oblong two handled sugar bowl, on four ball feet, engraved with initial and crest, the shoulder engraved with oak and thistle shoulder, wrigglework borders--Dublin, circa 1810, maker's mark lacking--length over handles 8in. (20.3cm.), and an oval sauceboat on three hoof feet, the sides chased with swan, deer, grapevine, flowers and bull rushes--Dublin, maker's mark of C. Lamb, circa 1893--length over handle and spout 7¾in. (19.6cm.), 26oz. (4)
