A GEORGE I SILVER CHOCOLATE POT, London, 1714, maker's mark apparently that of Thomas Folkingham, tapering cylindrical form, on molded spreading foot, with panelled curved spout with wood scroll handle at right angles, the hinged domed cover with removable pin and chain, scroll thumbpiece and hinged baluster cap, the front engraved with a coat of arms within a foliate scroll and fishscale cartouche, --10in. (25.5cm.) high, gross weight 29oz.
