etching, 1648, on laid paper, watermark Fleur-de-Lys in a Crowned Shield with Pendant Initials PR, a fine impression with good contrasts, first state (of three), with narrow margins, an overinked spot at the ankle of the foreground figure, an unobtrusive foxmark, a short tear just into the platemark at the bottom left, several tiny repairs in the margins, otherwise generally in very good condition
