signed and dated 'fritche. Pinx: 1784' (lower right)
2 3/8 in. (61 mm.) diam., reeded gold mount, set on the cover of a circular gold-mounted black composition bonbonnière with glazed plaited hair base, the gold mounts struck with the charge and discharge marks of Henry Clavel, Paris, 1784-1788 (3 1/16 in. 78 mm. diam.)
