A GEORGE III MAHOGANY ARCHITECT'S TABLE, CIRCA 1765, the rectangular hinged top with central foliate-carved ornament and meandering vine border, the front pulling forward to reveal a leather-lined slide and compartments, with candleslides to the sides, on square chamfered legs with casters, the frieze and legs carved allover with scrolling foliage and pendant flowers (carving possibly of later date)-- 31¼ in. high, 35½ in. wide, 24 in. deep
