Lot Essay

According to Helen Lundeberg, these drawings were made for the weekly NBC television show "Feitelson on Art: The Great Art of Drawing", presented from January 6, 1963. Except for two shows, each program was given to discussion and analysis of an old master draughtsman, ending with Feitelson's graphic analysis in the style of the artist under discussion.
