CIRCA 1820, IRON-RED STENCILLED MARK TO ONE

Of typical shape, the everted rims gilt with egg and dart, one painted en grisaille, with a seated Bacchante feeding grapes to a putto in her lap, the other with Bacchus seated beside a basket of fruit, beneath garlands of pink roses and flanked by foliate pedestals bearing baskets of fruit, the reverse with satyrs playing with snakes at a fountain and surrounded by stylized scrolling foliage and allover flowering branches, the lower section with brown and yellow leaves within gilt surrounds on the lavender ground flanked by upright angular foliate handles and guilloches brakets, on a knopped stem and flaring foot painted with leaves in lappets, on a square base (wear to gilding on rims, one with rim chip)--26in.
