CHOSON DYNASTY (15TH-16TH CENTURY)

The deep, cylindrical cup set on a high ring foot and moulded with two flat handles on each side which are fashioned in the form of stylized phoenixes, with notched combs and long tails, covered overall with a creamy white glaze with extensive, dense crackle- 5 in. (12.7 cm.) diameter, 2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high
