Chun Chil-Bong was born in Chonju in North Cholla. His paintings were exhibited in the "15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th National"exhibitions in Seoul. He had three one-person exhibitions at the Sin Noon Hall in Seoul in 1967, 1970, and 1977. He also had a one-person exhibition at the Bando Gallery in 1971 and he exhibited his work at the Byun Gallery in 1976, both in Seoul.
