QIANLONG BLACK ENAMEL FOUR-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN A SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD, THE PORCELAIN JINGDEZHEN KILNS, THE PAINTING POSSIBLY PALACE WORKSHOPS, BEIJING

Of gourd shape, molded in low relief with small gourds and vine tendrils around the body, the gourds painted yellow, the vines in shades of green and yellow with details picked out in black, all on a dense gilt scrolling ground, two small simple handles at the shoulder modelled as branches, the foot a shallow concave depression, natural pearl stopper
