MAKER'S MARK OF GEBRUDER FRIEDLANDER, BERLIN, CIRCA 1900

Of shaped oval form on four openwork scroll feet, the openwork sides with elaborately entwined art nouveau foliage and flowerheads enclosing a vacant cartouche on one side and engraved SLM on other, surmounted at one end a classical maiden holding a string instrument and at the other end a girl holding pipes, with copper liner, marked under base GEBR.
