The boxwood netsuke carved as a tiger and cub, the open-jawed tiger turned to the left to regard a cub climbing on its back, the himotoshi formed by the paws, the striped fur well defined and the eyes inlaid in brass with horn pupils, signed on the underside- 1 3/8 in. (3.7 cm.) long
