The rectangular inro applied in soft metal with a cockerel, three hens and chicks on a kinji ground additionally decorated with a plum tree in gold and silver takamaki-e and a red sun in togidashi, the interior cases nashiji; fitted with a gilded reticulated ojime and an ivory netsuke in the form of a branch and applied with a soft metal cockerel- 3 5/8 in. (9.3 cm.) high, half of metal hen missing, surface nicks and abrasions
