used 1841-55, the study of the 2d. plates 3 and 4 covering the 1841, 1854 (1 March) and 1855 (22 February) issues, arranged in the form of an amalgamated sheet reconstruction (the strength in the 1841 issue), most of the major re-entries are present together with states of the plate 4 repairs and wear to the A and T rows, varieties with BH showing with and without 'Spectacle' variety, double letters, etc., many multiples with pairs, strips and blocks; the imperf. issues mostly with margins all round, many better cancellations with numbers in Maltese Cross, Irish 'Spoon' types including two from Mullingar struck in blue, etc., mostly fair to fine.
