The technique of the present drawing is close to that a drawing in the Albertina, Vienna preparatory for the Martryrdom of Saint Andrew of 1759 at Rouen, P. Rosenberg, French Master Drawings from the Rouen Museum, Washington, 1981, p. 27, illustrated.
