MAKER'S MARK OF TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK, 1887
Of boat-shaped form on oval foot, applied with a band of twisted rope and four dolphin heads chased in high relief issuing from seaweed, the hull-form body with flaring handles, draped with rope and applied with seaweed forming on both sides a cartouche surrounded by seafoam, one vacant, the other with an engraved presentation inscription, the rim curled over as a stylized wave, marked under base, 9587/8472--length over handles 20¾in.
