ATTRIBUTED TO AARON CHAPIN, HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT, 1790-1810
The rectangular top with outset front above an inlaid apron fitted with two short drawers over serpentine cupboard doors flanked by a semi-circular short drawer above a conforming cupboard door, each upper leg with string inlaid geometric reserves over an inlaid chevron band of light and darkwood on square tapering legs inlaid with lightwood and ebony tapering geometric motif above ebony and lightwood-inlaid cuffs, appears to retain original brasses--40 1/8in. high, 72 3/4in. wide, 26 3/8in. deep
