A CHIPPENDALE CARVED AND GILT MAHOGANY BLOCKFRONT CHEST-ON-CHEST

In two parts: the upper section with molded broken scroll pediment centering and flanked by three flame-turned finials with spheres and flared bases above a case fitted with three short drawers, the central drawer with carved and gilt fan over four graduated long drawers flanked by fluted pilasters; the lower section with mid-molding above four graduated long drawers over a molded base, on bracket feet with spur returns, appears to retain original brasses (repairs to feet; replaced mid-molding)--83 1/2in. high, 43 3/4in. wide, 22 1/2in. deep
